AMOS MELENDEZ
The AMOS REALTY is owned by Amos Melendez, Qualifying Broker. Amos has been licensed as a real estate broker since 1995. Amos is particularly proficient and qualified in the Santa Fe real estate market, continually monitoring and staying on top of market trends in buying, selling and building—helping his clients make the right decisions for primary living and/or their real estate investments. Because he is not associated with a large real estate corporation that requires agents to give a number of hours per week for the good of the company, he can spend one-on-one time with individual clients to provide unique, knowledgeable assistance to buyers and sellers of Santa Fe and northern New Mexico real estate. Most recently, he has focused a considerable amount of time in marketing New Mexico ranches, horse property and building sites.
Amos Melendez holds a Master of Science Degree from New Mexico State University, a New Mexico Standard Teacher's and Administrator's License and a New Mexico Real Estate Qualifying Broker's License. He was a science research assistant with the University of California, Berkeley and was a secondary school and college teacher in southern and northern New Mexico. Amos was superintendent of the Santa Fe Public Schools before he embarked on a career in real estate. During his twenty-four years of management and administration in education he followed population trends in Santa Fe County as part of his responsibility in determining where schools should be built. This experience led to his interest in real estate. Amos, a native New Mexican, has been a resident of Santa Fe for over 40 years.
